Janssen South Africa Welcomes Nine New Interns: YES Graduate Programme

On 1st February 2023, Janssen South Africa welcomed nine new colleagues as part of our 12-month Graduate Programme; part of the Youth Employment Service (YES) Graduate Programme. These individuals will be working in various departments across the business where they will gain valuable experience.
 
This programme is an important aspect of our responsibility to the communities in which we live and work, per Our Credo; making Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the way we work every day.

The YES Programme is a business-led collaboration that seeks out ground breaking ways, through innovation and technological best practice, to reignite the economy and give youth a dignified first chance. The aim is to create work opportunities for unemployed black youth, and transform the lives of these youth while helping to grow the businesses in which they are placed. 

We have been partnering with the Talent Development Institute (TDI) to bridge the skills gap and provide the South African Youth with employment opportunities through theoretical and practical implementation of skills learnt whilst on these programmes.
